  • Hi there and welcome!

I am a photographer based in Northern VA, specializing in Interiors, Brands, and capturing the love of a family on medium format film. Having earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from Virginia Commonwealth University and being a photographer for 8 years, I’ve been able to blend my love for capturing a feeling through an image with my love for spaces, people, and stories. Whether it’s the feeling of being inside a beautifully designed place, the feeling of a brand’s story and how it draws people in, or the feeling of a 3 year old’s tiny arms wrapped around their mother and the impossible joy felt at hearing their sweet giggle, my heart connects with each one of these and translates it into imagery that has soul and evokes emotion. I believe in telling a story, beautiful light, gratitude, and always seeing the beauty in life and in others.

I am so excited to see all of the hard work that went into Raashi’s couples’ baby shower showcased on the beautiful blog, Pretty My Party! This was such a fun ‘adult’ couples baby shower, thrown by her sister, complete with cocktails, high-heels, and tons of great food provided by Vermilion Restaurant in NYC. With a beautiful blue and white bear topped cake by Silk Cakes and tons of other sweet treats, including a popcorn bar after the party theme “Ready to Pop”, this celebration is full of fun ideas to help a new mom and dad-to-be celebrate in style.

See the full blog post and all the pictures of the adorable details here! And thanks to Pretty My Party for a lovely feature!

One of the most emotional walks down the aisle I have ever seen. This is what the day is all about…

The way Jeff looks at Brianna…that is love. It’s  the “I want to spend every day of the rest of my life making you happy” kind of love. By far my favorite part of this wonderful thing called a ‘job’ is seeing love. The kind that is founded on commitment and devotion and is the “I’ve got your back for the rest of your life” kind. I left this wedding walking on cloud nine, because for eight hours, I was surrounded by pure love, grace, and selflessness. And it wasn’t just the bride and groom, or their immediate families, it was the friends and family they were surrounded by. Because these two are such amazing people, they have attracted only the best kind of people to share in their life. The toasts from the matron of honor and best man – not a dry eye in the place. The parent dances – so moving. Because Brianna and Jeff give this love, they get this same love in return, and it was such a testament to how genuine, authentic, kind, and loving these two are. Their wedding was such a blessing and an honor to be a part of. The beautiful Virginia Cliffe Inn was a gorgeous southern backdrop, and the brightly colored peonies and lilies mixed in with ferns, greenery and wildflowers were perfect! Brianna’s lace dress was so sweet and charming, especially accented with her great grandmothers cross pinned to the inside. And of course I loved their bridesmaid dresses from my favorite place Nordstrom, as you can see from this post! Their wedding day was so beautiful and I am so glad to have been a part of it! Thanks to the amazing Dee Kirchmier  and Jennifer McBride from McBride Events for ensuring their day went so smoothly! It was so wonderful to work with you! And a huge thanks to the sweet Ashley Glasco for joining me – it was so lovely to have you there!
