  • Hi there and welcome!

I am a photographer based in Northern VA, specializing in Interiors, Brands, and capturing the love of a family on medium format film. Having earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from Virginia Commonwealth University and being a photographer for 8 years, I’ve been able to blend my love for capturing a feeling through an image with my love for spaces, people, and stories. Whether it’s the feeling of being inside a beautifully designed place, the feeling of a brand’s story and how it draws people in, or the feeling of a 3 year old’s tiny arms wrapped around their mother and the impossible joy felt at hearing their sweet giggle, my heart connects with each one of these and translates it into imagery that has soul and evokes emotion. I believe in telling a story, beautiful light, gratitude, and always seeing the beauty in life and in others.

Erika is one of the nicest, kindest people you could ever meet. She is happiness, sunshine, and smiles all of the time. Speaking of smiles, she has one of the most beautiful, sincere smiles that just lights up the room and instantly makes you feel great. So it’s no surprise to those that know and love her, that she would be marrying a man like Andrew. He is gentle, caring, sincere, down-to-earth. The people I meet and the couples I get to know are easily the best part about this. I do this for the love. And these two are the epitome of that. They are grateful and caring and they really love all of those they share their life with. They are teachers who met at the school they both work at (how cute is that!) and you can tell they are the type of people who just live each day to the fullest, with gratitude and love. Their wedding day was no different. From the beginning, it was always about joining their lives. Becoming “Mrs. & Mrs.”. It was a beautiful day with a ceremony at St. Cyril and Methodius Church, and a reception following at The Irish Coffee Pub Restaurant in Islip, NY. We stopped at Bayard Cutting Arboretum so the happy couple could enjoy a few sweet moments together as husband and wife, and it was so special! I could not have been more honored to be a part of their day. Erika and Andrew, thank you for allowing me to capture these special moments for you! You two are the best!

It’s hard to believe it’s August 1st. This summer is flying by (and so is wedding season, which brings a little tear to my eye. I never want it to end!). Almost two months ago, at the beginning of June, we went to France to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. It was an amazing trip that we will relive for years to come! I have SO many pictures that I look forward to eventually sharing. We literally fell in love with Paris and I could definitely move there…tomorrow! And the south of France was stunning. Before I share them all, I wanted to highlight a few of my favorites on film. Getting acquainted with my Contax 645 in France was extra magical, and I can’t wait to post more, and to fully work film into future weddings! Enjoy! And happy August!
